Language as a bridge to shared humanity.

Explore the body of work that transforms pain into shared understanding and survival into liberation.

“The Weight of The Ocean”

The ocean floor

is covered in shipwrecks

that once believed they were unsinkable.

Empires of steel

resting quietly beneath a universe

of salt and pressure.

I think about that every time

someone in power

boasts about their permanence.

How the ocean never argues.

It just keeps moving until iron forgets

what it is made of.

History is patient like that.

It does not announce itself.

It does not brag about its power.

It just waits for the next storm.

Yes you will rise from the ashes,
but the burning comes first.

For this part, darling,
you must be
BRAVE.
